The New Orleans Saints must make a few tough decisions when putting together their active roster for Monday’s Week 2 kickoff against the Las Vegas Raiders. Teams are allowed to activate as many as two practice squad players each week (though every member may only be called up twice during the season, or else signed to the roster full-time), expanding the game-day roster to 48 players from the usual 46.
Three Saints players have already been ruled out for Week 2 with injuries, including wide receiver Michael Thomas and defensive end Marcus Davenport. A few others have their game status under question, which you can read about on the final injury report.
