Why the game against the Bills will be highly anticipated?
The New Orleans Saints schedule is set to be released on today, Wednesday, May 14. Among the games is a visit to the Buffalo Bills, which is sure to be a highly anticipated matchup.
The roster that the Bills have is obviously one reason. They currently have the reigning MVP in quarterback Josh Allen and have made several defensive upgrades, including signing Pro Bowler Joey Bosa and drafting six defensive players in April.
Bosa has been their best offseason addition thus far. The former Charger has 343 total tackles, 72 sacks, and 17 forced fumbles in his career.
“I was able to get this opportunity to come here, to such a great organization, a team that has a real chance at winning.” Bosa said in his introductory press conference. “I thought it would be silly to not take that opportunity.”
The weather is also a factor. If played in the winter, temperatures could reach 37 degrees Fahrenheit (the average high in Buffalo in December 2024, according to Accuweather.com).
Cold-weather games haven’t gone well for New Orleans. Their previous one, against the Packers last season, was 34 degrees at kickoff, with the windchill making it feel like 24. The Saints would go on to lose that game, 0-34.
