Now that the NFL Draft is over and rookie minicamp is about to start, we have a tentative list of the New Orleans Saints 2025 roster. While they addressed several needs in the draft, one position that went unselected was at wide receiver. The Saints did however sign a few UDFA wide receivers, but there are also several free agents still available on the market. One who has been mentioned a lot lately in the same conversation with the Saints is former Charger and Bears WR Keenan Allen.
Many say that Allen would be a good fit, as he will bring some good veteran leadership to New Orleans and is already familiar with new Saints head coach Kellen Allen having played under him in 2023 in Los Angeles. Last season with the Bears, the six-time Pro Bowler racked up 744 yards and 7 touchdowns. Considering the Saints’ injuries to the position last season, a low risk, high reward and cap friendly contract could be something that works out in both Allen and the Saints favor this season.
As always, we want to hear from you. Do you think the Saints should sign WR Keenan Allen? Vote in this week’s reacts poll and let us know!
