With Week 1 in the books for the New Orleans Saints, the team worked out a handful of wide receivers earlier today.
Included in the group, per the league transaction wire, were veterans Marqise Lee and Kenny Stills. Lee has not played in the league since 2019, while Stills appeared in 10 games for the Houston Texans in 2020.
Stills in particular is a familiar name for New Orleans fans. The former Oklahoma star was a fifth-round pick of the Saints in 2013 and played his first two years on the bayou.
In addition to playing with the Texans last year, Stills spent time with the Buffalo Bills during the playoffs, but did not appear in a game.

Lee, who opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, was signed by the San Francisco 49ers back in May but released four days later. In 2019, the former USC standout caught three passes for 18 yards in six games with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In the Saints’ 38-3 season-opening win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, New Orleans wide receivers combined to catch only four passes, but they made the most of them. Deonte Harris and Chris Hogan each hauled in touchdowns.
