The New Orleans Saints currently own the 16th and 19th picks in this year’s NFL Draft. That could change fairly soon though.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Saints have been working the phones all week to gauge the trade market. They are exploring their options when it comes to moving up and down the draft board.
“Saints have been working the phones this week, with possibility to move up or down in the first round, per multiple teams,” Fowler announced on Twitter.
Earlier this week, Saints general manager Mickey Loomis told the media he’s “doing a lot of exploration” as it pertains to trades.

The Saints have a lot of needs, especially on the offensive side of the football. They’d love to come out of this draft with at least an offensive tackle, safety and wide receiver.
There have also been some rumors linking the Saints to quarterback prospects like Matt Corral and Kenny Pickett.
With the NFL Draft approaching very soon, the Saints may have to see how the draft board shakes out before making a significant move.
