The free event for children ages 7 to 15 included elite football training, skills, drills, contests and more. Campers also received group photos with McKinstry as well as a limited-edition camp t-shirt.
McKinstry was joined by several former and current members of the Crimson Tide including Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Tim Keenan, Terrion Arnold and Malachi Moore.
He told WVUA, “Being here from Alabama you know just showing these kids guys that you have seen on tv that actually have played for the University of Alabama. Growing up here in Birmingham you always hear every kid wanna go to Alabama.”
