“Kenny Stills?” That name sounds familiar.
The New Orleans Saints continue to try to improve their team, as they have added one player to their active roster and set workouts for others.
Saints are re-signing DL Montravius Adams to their active roster and Panthers are bringing back veteran CB Rashaan Melvin to their practice squad, per their agent @DrewJRosenhaus.

Montravius Adams is a defensive tackle who could help stuff the middle of the defensive line as the Saints gear up to face the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. While it’s not a flashy move by any means, it’s the type of move that a winning football team makes to improve the roster.
The more exciting news, however, is the duo of players the Saints brought in for workouts at wide receiver.

Lee is a former 2nd round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars back in 2014 who last played meaningful NFL snaps in 2019 with the Jaguars before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Lee sat our the 2020 campaign due to Covid concerns and four days on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad this summer.
It is Kenny Stills, though, that likely has Saints fans paying attention.
Stills was a 5th round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2013, who saw some of his most productive seasons in the NFL while a member of the Black and Gold.
Still was traded to the Miami Dolphins for LB Dannell Ellerbe and a third round pick in the 2015 offseason. A free agent, Stills acknowledged the possibility of returning to the Saints last month.

With Tre’Quan Smith hitting injured reserve, Stills would be the type of speedy deep threat that also the height to make contested catches on intermediate routes (at 6’0) that Deonte Harris (5’6), with all of his speed, lacks.
