Visiting famed New Orleans spots with the rooks.
The New Orleans Saints recently hosted their annual Rookie Tour and shared a clip of the outing on their social media. In addition to tasting a classic sno-ball with a visit to Hansen’s Sno-Bliz, this year’s edition of the field trip brought rookies to a crawfish boil with an opportunity to meet some fans. It made a trip to Drago’s to try some of their famous charbroiled oysters.
Along with checking out the food scene, rookies were treated to visits to some top local spots such as Mardi Gras World, the Steamboat Natchez, and Vue Orleans. Of course, the team made sure to bring the players to the home of the Saints, the Caesars Superdome, where they saw the locker rooms and playing surface still getting prepped ahead of the NFL preseason.
