The New Orleans Saints are bringing back one of their best special teamers.
The Saints officially announced on Monday that running back Dwayne Washington has signed a one-year deal to return to the team.

Washington has played in 71 career games throughout his career. He joined the Saints in 2018 and since then, he’s totaled 15 coverage stops and has one blocked punt.
He also has 245 rushing yards off of 47 carries but doesn’t have a rushing touchdown.
For the 2021 season, he appeared in 14 games and had seven coverage stops along with 26 total yards of offense. For his career, Washington has 554 rushing yards and one touchdown on 157 carries.
Washington was originally a seventh-round pick in 2016 by the Detroit Lions. He played his college football at the University of Washington out of the Pac-12.
