During the fifth round of the NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints selected South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Rattler was expected to go on Day 2 of the draft, but unfortunately his stock was affected by an old Netflix series he starred in. Nonetheless, he’s happy about going to New Orleans.
“At the end of the day it’s a blessing to get picked wherever,” Rattler said, via ESPN. “I knew we were waiting around a day or two but I had faith that I would be picked today. … I was very happy the Saints came and picked me, what a great feeling.”
Immediately after the Saints drafted Rattler, his girlfriend Yazmina Gonzalez shared the news on Instagram.
“LETS GO,” Gonzalez wrote on her Instagram Story.

Gonzalez might not be a household name like Rattler, but she’s quite popular on social media. At the moment, she has over 18,300 Instagram followers.
It wouldn’t surprise us if Gonzalez’s following explodes over the next few days.
Over the years, Gonzalez has traveled around the United States, visiting Arizona, California and New York. Now, she’ll get to see what Louisiana has to offer.
Perhaps we’ll see new content from Gonzalez fairly soon.
As for Rattler, he’ll have to start learning Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak’s playbook.
