Former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Jahri Evans has been selected for induction into the Allstate Sugar Bowl’s Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Evans was drafted by the Saints in the 4th round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played a total of 11 seasons in New Orleans (2006-2016) which included 5 playoff teams and the Super Bowl 44 championship team. He also earned Pro Bowl honors for 6 straight seasons (2009-2014) Evans was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2022 and is currently a member of the Saints coaching staff as an offensive assistant.
The Hall of Fame class is selected each year by the Greater New Orleans Sports Awards Committee, which consist of a group of current and former media members who annually recognize a variety of annual award-winners, as well as the Hall of Fame, the Corbett Awards and the Eddie Robinson Award.
Evans will be recognized during the Allstate Sugar Bowl Sports Awards Banquet, which will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, in Caesars Superdome.
