The 2024 NFL draft is just one week away and the Saints have yet to make a trade with their first-round selection. That means, as of now, they will drafting at No. 14 in the first round. That has been an interesting spot for the team in the past, as they have taken two players there in the last twenty years. Most recently was Marcus Davenport and before that it was Malcolm Jenkins, those two players had drastically different trajectories with the Saints.
Eight players drafted out of the No. 14 slot have gone on to make a Pro Bowl. Just below half of the players would be considered ‘hits’ if you use that as a measuring stick. There was one Hall of Famer that has been taken there that time frame, Darelle Revis.
