Who to add to your roster for your playoff run

Saints vs. Eagles

Jalen Hurts – QB (PHI)

It has still not been announced who will be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles come Week 14, but Carson Wentz being benched for Jalen Hurts last week in Green Bay shows the Eagles are ready to start thinking about a change. If Hurts is named the starter, he should be added in most fantasy leagues as he will be heavily involved in the run game in addition to the passing attack in Philly. Even if Wentz is named the starter against the Saints, the Eagles have now shown their willingness to bench Wentz, meaning if the former 2nd overall pick keeps up his poor play it could be the end of his time in Philly. The Eagles have some favorable matchups against the Cardinals and Cowboys after their tough matchup against the Saints, which could mean Hurts would be in line for some decent scoring if you are unhappy with the direction of your incumbent QB.

Ty Johnson – RB (NYJ)

Johnson filled in well for Frank Gore when the 16-year veteran left with a concussion against the Raiders. Johnson ran 22 times for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Jets “heartbreaking” loss to Las Vegas. If Gore is unable to go, Johnson will be the starting back for the Jets against a Seattle Seahawks defense that ranks middle of the road against the run. He should be added in most leagues and could fill in nicely at the FLEX for the first round of your playoff run.

T.Y. Hilton – WR (IND)

Hilton looks like he has finally gotten on the same page as Philip Rivers as he has combined for over 190 yards and has scored 2 touchdowns over the last two weeks. Hilton was cast aside by many owners early in the year after it looked like this would be a lost season for the former FIU Panther. However, if he can keep up this momentum he will remind everyone just how good he is. Look for him to be a WR2 if he can keep up this production.
