Whether it’s playing a “home” game in Florida, the retirement of Drew Brees, or a roster that lost multiple starters in the offseason from the year before, it didn’t matter, as the team took care of business against the Green Bay Packers. In doing so, the Saints proved most of the national media – including most of the staff here at Canal Street Chronicles – wrong for doubting them.
