After 178 votes, the New York Giants were the runaway winner with 55.6% of the vote. The Giants game would be at home and could potentially be a matchup of rookie QBs. The Giants drafted Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart in the first round of this year’s draft, while the Saints drafted Louisville’s Tyler Shough shortly after in the second round. Dart was rumored to be on the Saints radar as an option at QB, but they ultimately decided to take Kelvin Banks, Jr. with their first-round pick and wait for a QB in the second.
This game would be an interesting look at both QBs for the Saints to see if they made the right choice to roll with Shough and not trade back into the first round for Dart. It would also be a matchup between an old NFC East rival for Saints head coach Kellen Moore, who spent five years as an offensive coordinator in the NFC East coaching against the Giants twice a year.
