While the Saints rest up on their bye week, other teams in the NFC South still play to try and draw even and these are the bets around those games.

The New Orleans Saints sit at home this week watching games like the rest of us, hoping to stay in first place in the NFC South. The Saints might get some rest, but the wagering game never sleeps. This week, let’s look at the other teams in the NFC South and some other good bets sitting at the sportsbooks. Each week, CSC will preview and highlight some wagers for every Saints game but with a bye week, let’s go around the league and look for the best wagers. Thanks to our friends over at DraftKings sportsbook for the lines for the week 11 best bets.

NFL Week 11 best bets

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs San Francisco 49ers – Niners -9.5

In the NFC South race, the Bucs sit in second place just a half-game behind the Saints. At 4-5, a win this week would put the Buccaneers into a record tie with the Saints; however, they own a head-to-head victory which vaults them ahead. Good news for Saints fans though is that the Bucs must face one of the best teams in the NFC on the road in week 11. Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers came off their bye last week and proceeded to dominate the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. The Niners defense looks refreshed with the addition of Chase Young and they are once again NFC champion contenders. At home, the Niners should have no issue with the struggling Bucs offense. Expect another dominant performance and the 49ers win by double-digits.

Take the prop bet on Micah Parson to get at least one sack against the bad Panthers offensive line.

Dallas Cowboys vs Carolina Panthers – Cowboys -9.5

As for the last place NFC South team, they have to travel and face another NFC championship contender. The Panthers are not likely a threat to the NFC South title this season, especially with a road game to Dallas coming up. Bryce Young is going to have a tough week against one of the NFCs best defenses that preys on weak teams. The Panthers offensive line has been awful this season and now they have to contend with Micah Parsons. It is going to be a long day for Young. Parsons’ sack prop is at -150 and is likely a great prop this week. Just like the Bucs, expect the Panthers to struggle to score and lose by double-digits to the Cowboys.

Trevor Lawrence has to play better if the Jaguars are going to be AFC contenders.

Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars – Over 39.5 points scored

The Jaguars are going to have to show that their offense is fixed to stay in first place in the AFC South. In their past two games, the Jags have scored a combined 23 points. This week’s game against the Titans could be a get-right game for Trevor Lawrence and the offense. The Jags have won two straight against the Titans, scoring 56 total points. This bodes well for the point total in this game. Will Levis loves his shot plays and should be able to take advantage of a weak Jaguars secondary. In their last six meetings, the teams have combined to score over 40 points in four of these games. There should be enough scoring this week to easily go over this points total.

Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions – Over 48 points scored

One of the highest point totals this weekend is between NFC North foes. The Detroit Lions are going to look to continue their two-game winning streak against a Bears team welcoming back Justin Fields. Jared Goff and the Lions offense looks unstoppable at times and they should find plenty of opportunity against the Bears that surrender the sixth most points in the league. Justin Fields should spark the Bears offense that has been enigmatic without him under center. In the last two meetings between these teams, they have combined to score 51 and 61. Expect the return of Fields and the hot Lions offense to score enough and take the total over 48.
