Despite joining the team last offseason, the Tennessee Titans could move on and trade cornerback LJarius Sneed before the 2025 campaign. According to Bleacher Report, they believe it might be best for the Titans to move on from a standout corner for the Kansas City Chiefs, but he hasn’t been able to live up to the standards of what Tennessee was hoping for. After suffering from a season-ending injury last year, he hasn’t been able to prove that he can excel with the Titans, as he’s still in rehabilitation. The report implies it would be smart to trade him while he still has value, and the Titans could recoup some solid draft capital.
Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the former Louisiana Tech product became one of the best cornerbacks in the league with the Chiefs, helping them win back-to-back Super Bowls, but the team couldn’t compensate for his next deal. Kansas City decided to send him to another team to get some draft capital in return, at least, but it might be time for him to head to a contender to recapture his bolstering form. It’s unlikely they’ll trade him since it’s still early, but the Titans are far from being a winning roster despite having a promising quarterback in Cam Ward. If Sneed becomes available, here are four teams that could pursue him.

Breaking: Titans Could Trade Top Talent LJarius Sneed; 4 Possible Fits
Potential Best Fits
Kansas City Chiefs
Despite signing Kristian Fulton this offseason, the Kansas City Chiefs should consider a reunion with one of their former standouts. Trent McDuffie was able to hold the secondary group like duct tape last 2024 campaign, but Sneed’s return to the Chiefs should put the team back on the map. These two pulverizing talents could be a scary sight for opposing offenses if they can find a way to bring back Sneed.
New Orleans Saints
Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints have one of the worst secondaries in today’s game. The Saints need some type of life to ignite the cornerback unit, especially when the team doesn’t have the best offense. Sneed should get the start for this room, and being that he’ll reunite with Justin Reid, it puts the Saints in good business to have a strong secondary.
Carolina Panthers
However, the Carolina Panthers have two solid corners in Michael Jackson and Jaycee Horn after giving them new deals. Despite that, they haven’t been the most explosive, so there’s an upgrade that they need to win their one-on-one matchups. Sneed could excel, especially when Tre’Von Moehrig is playing at his peak, and these two could form one of the most dangerous threats in the NFC.
Dallas Cowboys
Despite trading for Kaiir Elam this offseason, the Dallas Cowboys need a revamp in their secondary. Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland are on the hot seat entering the 2025 regular season, and it’ll take time for them to win the trust back of this organization due to injuries and consistency issues. Sneed could be the latest cornerback for this team to change things around in Dallas.
