The Saints has multiple scouts as well as Ted Rath, their new director of sports science for the team in attendance.

Here is a list of the 21 players that participated:

  • WR Mario Williams
  • WR Dontae Fleming
  • WR Yulkeith Brown
  • TE Reggie Brown
  • OL Vincent Murphy
  • OL Josh Remetich
  • DL Terrell Allen
  • DL Patrick Jenkins
  • DL Adin Huntington
  • DL Javon Carter
  • DL Eric Hicks
  • DB Jalen Geiger
  • DB Caleb Ransaw
  • DB Micah Robinson
  • DB Johnathan Edwards
  • LS Ethan Hudak

Edge defender Adin Huntington raised some eyebrows

Adin Huntington, an edge defender from Stafford, VA., had a good day. All while standing 6’1’’ and weighing 281 pounds, he had a 4.64 40-yard dash, 30 bench press reps, a 38-inch vertical jump, and a 10ft 6in broad jump.

Last season, Huntington had 30 total tackles, four sacks, and two forced fumbles. He was also named to the AAC all-conference third team.

Wide receiver Yulkeith Brown impressed

Tulane’s Yulkeith Brown, a wide receiver from Miami, FL, also stood out, with a 40-yard dash of 4.41 and a 9ft. 7in broad jump. He is 5’10” and weighs 167 pounds.

In 2024, Brown had 35 receptions for 470 yards and four touchdowns. He also had eight rushing attempts for 39 yards and one touchdown. Additionally, he was an honorable mention for the AAC all-conference team.

“Yulkeith was sort of an unsung hero as we went through the year last year.” Tulane coach Jon Sumrall said in a press conference at the end of the day.

Johnathan Edwards managed to raise his stock

Johnathan Edwards, who stands 6’1’’ and weighs 200 pounds, is another player that managed to raise his draft stock with an impressive pro day. He had an unofficial 40-yard dash time of 4.39 (tied for fastest of the day), a broad jump of 10ft 4in, a vertical jump of 38.5, a 4.41 shuttle run, and 13 bench press reps.

The St. Louis, MN native had 24 total tackles in last season, along with one tackle for a loss and one pass defended.

“You can’t teach his size and speed; you either have that or you don’t,” Jon Sumrall said. “When we got him, it was like getting a ball of clay.”
