Trey Murphy III Out For Season With Torn Labrum, Partial Tear Of Rotator Cuff

Trey Murphy III was diagnosed with a torn labrum and a partial tear of the rotator cuff and will miss the rest of the season, the New Orleans Pelicans announced on Monday.

Murphy suffered the injuries when he dislocated his shoulder on Monday against the Pistons.

Murphy had only played a minute in the game when he dove for a loose ball.

Murphy averaged 21.2 points and 5.1 rebounds on the season.
