The New Orleans Pelicans have waived forward Christian Shumate. The Pelicans had signed Shumate to an Exhibit 10 contract. Shumate is expected to join the Birmingham Squadron for the upcoming G League season.
The Pelicans roster now stands at 18 players. New Orleans has Jaden Springer on an Exhibit 10 contract. It’s unclear if Springer has made the opening night roster or not.
