Pelicans Hire Mike Hopkins As Assistant Coach, Head Of Player Development

The New Orleans Pelicans hired Mike Hopkins as an assistant coach and head of player development.

Hopkins, who spent last season with the Suns, was the head coach of Washington from 2017-2024.

Hopkins and Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations Troy Weaver were assistants on the 2003 Syracuse team that won the national title.
