NBA Best Bets Tonight: Pelicans vs Kings And Bonus Quick Bet

April 19, 2024 by Last Word On Pro Basketball

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (0) reacts during the second half against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

For April 19, 2024, we will look at the clash between the Pelicans and Kings from New Orleans. Before we get into that featured game, we will give our daily Quick Bet on the Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls from Miami.

Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls Best Bet

7:00PM EST
Miami, FL
Kaseya Center

For April 19, 2024, we will look at the clash between the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls in Miami. A win here would guarantee them a playoff spot. A loss here, would be a season-ending loss. Expect a high-intensity game. This will be the most important game of the season for both teams.

Injury Report

Missing Tonight

Duncan Robinson (back)
Terry Rozier (neck)
Jimmy Butler (MCL)
Josh Richardson (shoulder)
Zach Lavine (foot)
Lonzo Ball (knee)
Patrick Williams (foot)

Questionable

Andre Drummond (ankle)
Ayo Dosunmu (quadriceps)
Alex Caruso (ankle)

Heat vs Bulls Quick Bet to Make

Coby White is our guy tonight. We are going with him getting at least 10 rebounds + assists. He has gone over this line in two straight games against the Heat. With so many injuries, Coby White has to step up again, and we believe that he will cover this line easily.

That being said, Coby White getting at least 10 rebounds + assists is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Coby White over 9.5 rebounds + assists @-120 @FanDuel

New Orleans Pelicans vs Sacramento Kings Best Bet

9:30PM EST
New Orleans, LA
Smoothie King Center

For April 19, 2024, we will look at the game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings. This is a play-in tournament game between the 7th and 9th seed. A win here would guarantee them the playoff spot. The Sacramento Kings won their game in the semifinal against the Warriors. The Pelicans were defeated by the Lakers as we predicted, and now have another chance at getting into the playoffs. Expect a high-intensity game.

The Pelicans lost their first play-in game against the Lakers. They had a decent chance, but Zion Williamson got hurt late in the fourth quarter. Before that game, the Pelicans had won 4 of their last 5 games. They looked solid with Zion, but right now without him, they will have big problems offensively. Brandon Ingram was benched in the fourth quarter of that game because of his attitude. We believe that he will step up tonight and be a leader.

The Kings won in Sacramento against the Warriors. Their defense was just incredible in that game. Klay Thompson did not score a single bucket in the game. Before that game, the Kings were in bad form. However, they showed us that they are playoff ready, even without one of their best players, Malik Monk.

Injury Report

Missing Tonight

Zion Williamson (hamstring)
Malik Monk (knee)
Kevin Huerter (shoulder)

Pelicans vs Kings Best Bet to Make

The bookies are predicting this one as a 50-50 game. The last time these teams played against each other was earlier this month. The Pelicans dominated in Sacramento without Zion Williamson as well. We believe that they are a more experienced team, and that they will win tonight in front of their fans.

That being said, the Pelicans winning is a value bet.
