A win here would guarantee them the playoff spot. The Sacramento Kings won their game in the semifinal against the Warriors. The Pelicans were defeated by the Lakers as we predicted, and now have another chance at getting into the playoffs. Expect a high-intensity game.
The Pelicans lost their first play-in game against the Lakers. They had a decent chance, but Zion Williamson got hurt late in the fourth quarter. Before that game, the Pelicans had won 4 of their last 5 games. They looked solid with Zion, but right now without him, they will have big problems offensively. Brandon Ingram was benched in the fourth quarter of that game because of his attitude. We believe that he will step up tonight and be a leader.
The Kings won in Sacramento against the Warriors. Their defense was just incredible in that game. Klay Thompson did not score a single bucket in the game. Before that game, the Kings were in bad form. However, they showed us that they are playoff ready, even without one of their best players, Malik Monk.
