The New York Knicks are reportedly interested in the New Orleans Pelicans’ duo of Jose Alvarado and Yves Missi, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
“I did hear the Knicks were calling not only on Jose Alvarado of the New Orleans Pelicans, but also center Yves Missi,” Scotto reported on Ian Begley’s The Putback.
Alvarado and Missi have drawn interest from other teams, including the Rockets and Bulls.
“Yves Missi is a guy that the Pelicans have gauged the market on … a lot of teams that are eyeing centers are looking at Yves Missi as a trade candidate,” added Scotto.
Both Scotto and Begley discussed Guerschon Yabusele as the main trade candidate for the Knicks.
“I do think that at the end of this thing, as we get to the buzzer, he’ll be moved somewhere,” said Begley about Yabusele.
The Knicks are also reportedly open to trading Pacome Dadiet in addition to Yabusele.
Yabusele is averaging 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds on the year.
