CJ McCollum: ‘I had some situations when I was younger being racially profiled, getting pulled over. And even in Oregon, I got pulled over a few times in the neighborhood I live in. The police are asking me where I’m going. Why am I going fast? And I was obviously in hurry because I know the area and [had] been there long enough to know the speed limit in these types of areas. Cops are always there. Whose car is this? Those types of questions. And my initials are on the back license plate of one of my cars. It’s unfortunate. But luckily, I was able to show them my license and get away with it. A lot of people aren’t that fortunate.’
