Walk me through the moment when you found out you were going to be a Pelican. Derik Queen: Yeah, I think this was like late at 11—right before they called the 11th pick or early 12th—when they told me. Then I started getting messages on my phone, so I guess everybody started posting it already. It was good. It was amazing that I found out, because I enjoyed my visit here. I love the people here, and I was like, “This is somewhere—this is a great opportunity for me.” I was like, “This is a spot I want to come to.”
