Soccer

Allysha Chapman and Team Canada upset the USA on Monday morning and advance to the Gold Medal game, 9pm on Thursday Aug 5.

Basketball

Sylvia Fowles and the 3-0 US advance to the quarterfinals to face Australia on Tuesday night. Duop Reath and 3-0 Team Australia have also advanced to the quarterfinals to face Argentina on Tuesday morning.

Golf

The Women’s stroke play tournament gets underway this week with former Tiger Madelene Sagstrom of Sweden. play begins at 5:30pm on Tuesday, continuing all week. The Golf Channel will have live TV coverage.

ADAD

Swimming

Anne Tuxen of Norway will compete in the Women’s 10m Platform diving. The competition, from qualifying heats to the finals, all takes place over 24 hours, starting in the early hours of Wednesday.

Track & Field

JuVaughn Harrison became the first man to compete in High Jump and Long Jump in the same Olympics since the great Jim Thorpe. He finished 7th and 5th, respectively.

LSU Legend MONDO Duplantis, passed easily through the Pole Vault quallifying round and will compete in the Final on Tuesday morning.

Michael Cherry-USA advance to the Final in the Men’s 400m on Thursday morning.

There are a handful of Tigers who will be competing in the Men’s and Women’s relays at multiple distances and other races, all listed below.
