There likely will never be another Olivia Dunne – at least, not anytime soon. But that’s not stopping people from trying to anoint the next one.
Dunne, one of the most popular college athletes of the social media era, was a true superstar. She was a standout performer at LSU, one of the top schools in the country, and she had millions of followers across social media. Dunne went on to date No. 1 overall MLB Draft pick Paul Skenes and posed for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Enter: Sydney Razeghi.
The Stanford Cardinal freshman gymnast has been dubbed the “next Livvy Dunne” on social media. She has less than 40,000 followers, but fans are impressed by her content.
There’s not much info out there on Sydney right now. She is from Houston, Texas and is an undeclared major at Stanford entering her sophomore year.
But she’s building up a following on social media.
Thanks to Name, Image and Likeness, college athletes are now able to profit off of their social media followings. Few, if any, have done that better than Olivia Dunne, who has millions of fans across Instagram and TikTok.
Sydney has a long way to go before reaching – or even getting close to – Dunne’s status, but she’s on her way.
