With the amount of traveling she does and the amount of endorsement campaigns she juggles, it can be hard to remember that Olivia Dunne is still a gymnast.
Last year, Dunne was a member of the LSU squad that captured its first-ever national championship. While she didn’t participate in the final, she was a key contributor in various meets throughout the season. We’ll have to see what the Tigers do for an encore in 2025, but the team will have its top competitor, Haleigh Bryant, back in the fold. Bryant won the NCAA All-Around title and was SEC Gymnast of the Year.
LSU gymnastics held its annual media day this week, and Dunne showed off some of her best individual photos from the session on Instagram. In them, she’s got on a black leotard, one of the Tigers’ many uniform options, and is striking a variety of poses.
“5th times the charm!😁 #superseniorszn,” Dunne wrote in the caption.
As with everything Livvy posts, she sparked immediate reaction in the comments.
“5th year slay,” said University of Miami basketball player Hanna Cavinder, who is heading into her fifth year of hoops.
“The final stretch,” Dunne’s sister Julz wrote.
“Princess,” said model Olivia Ponton.
“I CANT WAIT TO GO TO A MEET,” said Madden San Miguel aka “Baby Gronk.”
“You geaux girl 💜💛,” another fan added.
After holding an exhibition on Dec. 16, LSU gymnastics will begin its 2025 regular season against Iowa State on Jan. 3.
Perhaps Dunne’s boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates star and LSU alum Paul Skenes, will return to Baton Rouge to catch a meet or two before he reports to spring training in February.
