Olivia Dunne celebrated her 22nd birthday on Tuesday, which included a heartfelt social media post from her boyfriend Paul Skenes.
Skenes and Dunne met while both were attending LSU. She was a gymnast and a social media superstar, while he was the baseball’s team’s ace and eventual No. 1 MLB Draft pick. They’ve been together since 2023, and Dunne was spotted at multiple MLB stadiums this season watching Skenes pitch for the Pittsburgh Pirates and make his case to win National League Rookie of the Year.
Yesterday, Skenes shared a birthday post on Instagram consisting of four photos of Dunne, including three of them together as a couple.
“Happy birthday Liv!❤️,” Skenes wrote as the caption.
Fans of the young celebrity couple took to the comments’ section to express their approval.
“The start of postseason baseball and Livvy’s bday? What a day,” said the MLB Fits account.
“Our girl is so beautiful ❤️,” a Pittsburgh fan account added.
“Best power couple of the MLB,” another person said.
“Living the literal dream,” a fourth person added.
“How can I find somebody the way Livvy looks at you Paul?” another fan asked.
While Skenes just finished his rookie campaign and looks like one of the more dominant young arms we’ve seen in baseball in recent years, Dunne’s own athletic career is still ongoing.
A part of LSU gymnastics’ national championship in 2023-24, Dunne returned to Baton Rouge for her fifth and final season of competition this year.
We’ll get to see her on the mats this winter as she looks to close out her time with the Tigers on a high note.
