LSU defensive tackle Joseph Evans has entered the transfer portal, according to Matt Zenith of On3Sports.
Evans, who was not on the Tigers’ spring roster, played 13 games across three seasons. The 306-pounder from Haynesville recorded eight of his 28 career tackles last season, with two going for a loss.
Upon joining LSU as a class of 2019 commit, Evans earned a three-star grade as the nation’s No. 666-ranked recruit by 247Sports.

LSU’s defense also recently lost safety Quinton Cage, who committed to UTSA last month. However, the Tigers have added cornerbacks Jarrick Bernard and Sevyn Banks and linebacker Kolbe Fields through the transfer portal this offseason.
Missouri transfer Mekhi Wingo can also help solidify a defensive line welcoming back Ali Gaye, B.J. Ojulari, Maason Smith, and Jaquelin Roy as starters.
