Look: LSU Cheerleaders Went Viral At The Final Four

Leave it to an LSU cheerleader to come up with the best assist of the Final Four.

On Friday night, Virginia Tech guard Cayla King’s shot got stuck behind the backboard. What happened next was entertainment in its purest form.

A male cheerleader for LSU lifted up a female cheerleader who then knocked the ball free. The crowd at American Airlines Center erupted once the basketball hit the hardwood.

ESPN announcer Ryan Ruocco enjoyed calling this moment from the booth.

It was a great night to be an LSU fan.

The LSU women’s basketball team outscored Virginia Tech 29-13 in the fourth quarter to punch its ticket in the national championship game. Angel Reese had 24 points and 12 rebounds.

LSU will face Iowa for the national championship on Sunday. Hopefully, another viral moment will unfold during that game.
