It took him a few weeks to finally see the clip, but Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin saw what Nick Wright had to say about former LSU superstar Angel Reese and found himself applauding the Fox Sports commentator.
On the April 2 edition of First Things First, Wright pointed out that nearly all of the hate and threats that Reese says that she receives comes from social media. He pointed out that trying to get the dopamine hit of seeing praise comes with the downside of seeing negativity.
Kiffin applauded the message, praising Wright for hitting on so many good points. He seemed to particularly appreciate him referring to the social media use as a “dopamine hit.”
“Wow. This is so true. Great points. #DopamineHit @getnickwright,” Kiffin wrote.

Granted, that clip was made a little over three weeks ago, but it’s still just as relevant now.
It’s pretty well documented that social media use has had a lot of negative effects on people, particularly young people. Between the effects it has had on the brain and the direct impact of hateful messages leading to real-life harm, there have been just as many negatives.
Even if you may not personally agree with it, the message seems to resonate with Kiffin strongly.
