All four have yet to sign with LSU, but it counts
Today is the biggest day of the 2025 U.S. Classic because it’s the day when the senior elites compete. That includes four members of LSU’s 2026 recruiting class: Annalisa Milton, Malea Milton, Hezly Rivera and Audree Valdenarro. Malea and Audree will compete in the first session beginning at 2 p.m. while Hezly and Annalisa will compete in the second session beginning at 7 p.m. Session 1 will be broadcast on USAG’s YouTube channel while Session 2 will be broadcast on CNBC and Peacock. NBC will re-air Session 2 on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The U.S. Classic serves as the final qualifying event for U.S. Nationals in New Orleans in early August. Regardless of performance, Hezly has her spot locked in because she was a member of the 2024 Olympic team. In order to qualify for Nationals, a gymnast must have an all-round score of at least 52.000 at a qualifying event (save for bigger names who can petition). Annalisa scored a 51.800 at Winter Cup, Malea scored a 50.700 at the GAGE National Elite Qualifier and Audree has yet to break 50.000. If any of them want to make it to NOLA, they’ll need to put up a great performance.
