LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne had the chance to catch up with three-time gold medalist Aly Raisman this week.
Dunne shared a photo of her and Raisman on her Instagram Story. Her caption for the post was quite funny.
“Guys … I just touched Aly Raisman again,” Dunne wrote.
For those wondering why Dunne said she “touched Aly Raisman again,” she actually met the two-time Olympian in August 2012. At that time, she said, “I can’t believe it I touched Aly Raisman!”
Here’s the photo that Dunne shared on Instagram:
Dunne and the Lady Tigers are competing in the semifinals of the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships this Thursday. It’ll be televised on ESPN2.
Raisman will serve as a commentator for ESPN this afternoon. She joined the network as an analyst earlier this year.
“I’m excited to be part of the ESPN gymnastics team and share my passion and love for the sport in a new way,” Raisman said in January, via ESPN Press Room. “It’s been so fun to watch these incredible athletes and see how much gymnastics continues to grow. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and the opportunity to try something different within the sport.”
Gymnastics fans will be in for a treat this Thursday, that’s for sure.
