Angel Reese proved during her time at LSU that she’s a double-double machine. However, there are some concerns about her jump shot.
A WNBA general manager recently said they’d like to see Reese expand her range. As of right now, she’s not really considered a threat to shoot from deep.
“I’d like to see her evolve her game outside of 10 feet,” an anonymous GM told ESPN. “If she’s going to play the four at the pro level, I think she’s got to work on her free throws and her outside shot.”
Clearly, Reese is aware of that criticism. On Friday, a video of her practicing 3-pointers surfaced on social media.
Reese might not have the nicest shooting form in the world, but the results from downtown were great.

Reese averaged 20.9 points and 14.4 rebounds per game during her two-year run at LSU. She was named the SEC Player of the Year this past season.
In a recent interview with Vogue Magazine, Reese expressed excitement over being a rookie in the WNBA.
“I want to start at the bottom again,” Reese said. “I want to be a rookie again and build myself back up; I want to be knocked down and learn and grow at the next level.”
We’ll find out where Reese’s pro career will begin on Monday. She’s expected to be a top-10 pick in the WNBA Draft.
