The New Orleans Pelicans have declined their $3.15 million team option on Elfrid Payton for the 2025-26 season. Payton averaged 3.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 21.3 minutes across 24 games last season with the Charlotte Hornets and Pelicans.
